In this snippet, from LOVE DELIVERED, it’s a hot summer
day and Pete and Bianca finally find time to sit on the front swing with a cool
glass of iced tea.
“You look beautiful,” Pete whispered, turning to face her.
She gazed into his
blue eyes, and her pulse kicked into high gear. “Thanks,” she said. Then she frowned
and looked down at her spackle-covered shirt and cut-off jean shorts. She
tugged a piece of spackle from her shorts.
He gently lifted her chin with his fingers.
