Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday:
Where writers share six sentences from their published or unpublished books.
In this snippet from my
recently-released novel, HEREAFTER, a contemporary romance with a ghostly twist, Rob finally realizes he doesn't care if Angie's a ghost or not...he needs to help her.
Her body shook, and Rob hugged her close, stroked her hair.
"Okay, you’re okay now." She wasn’t human, and he didn’t care. To
hell with science, and reason.
For a moment, they held each other. He cherished the feel of
her skin, the scent of her hair, and her womanly curves.
Hereafter is available now:

I really LOVED this story and your ghostly hereafter realm was perfectly executed - excellent choice for a snippet xx Hope there is more ghostly stories on the horizon :D
Yeah...to hell with science! :)
This is so poignant... Gripped my throat, it did... And I love that cover :)
LOve the fact that he no longer cares if she's ghost. She's real to him, which is all that matters.
Yep, sometimes you just have to throw science to the wind! Great snippet!
